Today I have shared a smoothie recipe with Dragon fruit and mango.My family totally hates this fruit,but I want them to have this mainly for its health benefits.I tried by blending it with mango for it could easily dominate the taste of dragon fruit and also gives a nice smoothie texture.Do make this healthy smoothie for your loved ones at home.
PREPARATION TIME : 5 MINS
MAKING TIME : 3 MINS
SERVES: 3-4
INGREDIENTS
1 mango
1/2 dragon fruit
2 tbsp honey (optional)
METHOD
Cut the dragon fruit in half through the middle and scoop out the flesh with a spoon or melon baller and chop them to pieces.
Peel the skin and chop the mango to bite sized pieces.Add the mango and dragon fruit to the blender with honey.
Blend for 20 secs in medium mode and 10 secs in pulse mode and transfer them to serving cups.
Serve them chilled,it is so refreshing.
TAKE CARE TIPS
Because of the addition mangoes they are really sweet,adding honey is totally your choice.

I have never used dragon fruit in a recipe before. Looks really tasty. I wish I could find fresh dragon fruit. I have had fresh prickly pear before when I was in Italy. Nothing beats fresh!
